D'Nette Wood, Advisor, specializes in vacant land and industrial properties. Ms. Wood has a strong background in finance and investments, and has prior success in the mortgage industry. Ms. Wood was appointed to the New Mexico State Investment Council in 2001 by Governor Garry Johnson, and reappointed in 2003 by Governor Bill Richardson. Ms. Wood is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. Also a philanthropist, Ms. Wood is involved with the Museum of Natural History Foundation, the American Woman Business Association, and the Junior League of Albuquerque. Ms. Wood comes to Maestas & Ward from Grubb & Ellis New Mexico where she was an associate.
