Maestas & Ward Promotes Michael Armijo Butler to Director

ALBUQUERQUE – Albuquerque-based Maestas & Ward Commercial Real Estate has announced the promotion of Michael Armijo Butler to Director of the company. An Albuquerque native with extensive national and international business experience, Butler joined the company’s retail division in 2005. Since then, he has earned the company’s Top Producer award three times, most recently in October 2008.

“Michael’s keen business sense and phenomenal ability to bring people together to reach a common objective have made him a leader in the company and the industry in a short period of time,” said Steve Maestas, the company’s managing partner. “We know he will continue to do great things and are thrilled that he has chosen to do them as a part of the Maestas & Ward team.”

Butler holds undergraduate degrees from the University or Oregon, Eugene, and studied international business, marketing, management and Spanish at the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. Prior to joining Maestas & Ward, he served as sales director for several software and software applications companies in both domestic and international markets, including Mexico, Asia and Australia.
