David Fite
Experience
David joined NAI Maestas & Ward in 2003 and became a director in 2008. In 2009, he formed the company’s Restaurant Specialists group with an emphasis on restaurants, including tenant representation, acquisitions and property disposition. He has a Bachelor degree in selling and sales management from Bowling Green State University.
As a top performing “Restaurant Specialist”, David understands the very specific real estate challenges affecting the hospitality industry in the Albuquerque Metro area and throughout New Mexico. With more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry including 17 years in the wine and beverage business representing national leaders such as the Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery and Hiram Walker Beverage Company, he is uniquely qualified as a tenant-rep broker to assist clients with expansions and roll-outs in the state. His strategic understanding of local markets helps him find the very best opportunities available to meet national and local client needs.
David’s current tenant accounts include The Brinker Restaurant Group, Pei Wei, Chipotle, Outback Steakhouse Inc., Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwiches, Famous Dave’s BBQ, and Weck’s Restaurants . David has recently completed several difficult property transactions including bank workouts and distressed property sales for Union Savings Bank, Los Alamos National Bank and First Financial Credit Union.
