Jim Hakeem, Director, An Albuquerque resident for the past 40 years, Jim joined Maestas & Ward in early 2004. He specializes in sales of Industrial buildings, vacant land, and investment properties as well as extensive experience in the development and acquisition sector of real estate transactions. Jim is a New Mexico State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and also attended the University of Notre Dame earning a Management Certification.
Jim has been active in the Albuquerque commercial real estate market for 14 years, when he left the food manufacturing industry, selling his successful business of 20 years, to open his own real estate investment partnership. There, his focus was on sales/ownership and development of investment properties including land, commercial buildings and multifamily.
