Taking Care of Your Health
MEDICAL INSURANCE– Company pays 100% of premium for individual coverage in our BlueCross BlueShield PPO. Includes a mail-order pharmacy for your convenience. Coverage may also be purchased for your eligible dependents.
DENTAL INSURANCE– Company pays 100% of premium for individual coverage in our BlueCross BlueShield dental plan. Coverage may also be purchased for your eligible dependents.
VISION INSURANCE – Company pays 100% of premium for individual coverage in our BlueCross BlueShield vision plan. Coverage may also be purchased for your eligible dependents.
CAFETERIA PLAN/FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS – Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction to pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses and/or dependent care expenses.
Planning for Your Future
SIMPLE-IRA Plan – A tax-deferred retirement plan. The company matches 100% of the employee’s contribution up to 3% of compensation with immediate vesting.
LIFE and AD&D Insurance – Company-provided benefit of $50,000.
LONG TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE – Company-provided benefit of 60% of the first $10,000 of your covered monthly pre-disability earnings.
Work-Life Balance
EAP (Employee Assistance Program) – Confidential counseling and referral service that offers employees and their dependents up to 3 in-person visits with a licensed counselor and unlimited telephone counseling and online resources for various personal and work-related concerns. 100% company-paid benefit.
HEALTH CLUB REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM – The company is committed to supporting a healthy lifestyle for its employees. To assist in this effort, employees are eligible to receive one-half the cost of a health club membership up to a maximum of $250.00 per year.
TRAVEL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM– Comprehensive referral, assistance, transportation and evacuation services designed to help employees respond to medical and other emergencies that may arise when traveling more than 100 miles from home. Also includes pre-travel assistance. 100% company-paid benefit.
VACATION – Accrues at the rate of 10 days per year.
SICK LEAVE – Accrues at the rate of 10 days per year.
HOLIDAYS – 9 scheduled paid holidays plus 1 additional floating holiday per year.
Professional Development
Maestas & Ward supports its staff’s professional growth and development. M&W pays for professional memberships, meetings and seminars as approved to help employees meet their professional goals.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION- For licensed and/or certified staff, Maestas & Ward pays for real estate license transfer and renewal, professional designation fees, E&O insurance, CARNM membership and continuing education classes.
WORKSHOPS and TRAINING - We offer monthly on-site staff workshops on personal and job-related topics as well as company-paid off-site training.
Other Benefits
DIRECT DEPOSIT – Employees may directly deposit their bi-weekly paychecks into up to 2 financial institutions of their choice.
