With 28 years of experience, Rich Diller, CCIM, SIOR, joined Maestas & Ward in April 2010. Coming from NAI The Vaughan Company’s position of President, Rich is one of the top industrial, land and investment brokers in New Mexico. His proficiency in all areas of sales and leasing has enabled him to enjoy relationships with companies and communities such as McDonald’s Corporation, Sun Healthcare Group, Earnest Thompson Furniture, The Kemtah Group, University of New Mexico Hospital, People’s Bank, City of Albuquerque, United States Postal Service, International Paper, and Albuquerque Public Schools.
Rich has been a leader in the Albuquerque Commercial Real Estate Community for many years and was part of the original group of Realtors who started the Commercial Association of Realtors (CARNM) in 1996 and was the organizations’ second recipient of the “Realtor of the Year” award in 1997. He is one of less than twenty Commercial Real Estate brokers in the state of New Mexico to have obtained the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
In addition to his success as a broker, Rich served in a management role for over 20 years with NAI Vaughan Company, an Albuquerque Commercial Real Estate firm with 30 commercial real estate brokers. Part of his duties with NAI Vaughan Company included that of Business Director for NAI Global, a managed network of independent commercial real estate firms with 5,000 professionals and 325 offices in 55 countries.
Rich received his Bachelors degree from UNM, where he was a three-year starter on the UNM football team, and captain his senior year. Rich attended graduate school at UNM Anderson School of Management for Business Administration.
Rich and his wife Debbie enjoy traveling and in his spare time, he also enjoys playing golf, biking, hiking, and working out.
