David Chavez joined Maestas & Ward in 2006 as an advisor following a very successful residential real estate career in which he was awarded #1 and #2 awards for production and volume, placing him in the top 5% of the company.
As a member of the Maestas & Ward Retail Division, David specializes in project leasing and investment property sales. He has successfully filled some of the most challenging shopping centers in the market and has handled numerous tenant rollouts in New Mexico. In addition, David has been involved with multiple investment sales gaining experience in underwriting transactions and marketing properties ranging from single-tenant assets to 130,000 SF anchored shopping centers. David was promoted to Senior Advisor in 2009.
David graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2001 with a degree in Management Information Systems. His diverse business experience includes software development, project management, training, and sales.
