Albuquerque is one of the oldest, and fastest growing cities in the country. With 300+ days of sunshine, low taxes, and inexpensive housing, Albuquerque is a great place to start or grow your business. Established over 300 years ago, Albuquerque has a rich transportation, agricultural and multicultural history.
One of the newer industries moving to Albuquerque includes the film industry. Albuquerque Studios, in the developing "green" Mesa del Sol, is a fully-functioning television and movie studio. Two television series filming here are "Breaking Bad " and "In Plain Sight" , two highly-acclaimed series. Myriad movies are also filming in Albuquerque and New Mexico.
One of the "earlier" (early 21st century) companies to make Albuquerque its home is Eclipse Aviation. Get in line to purchase one of their high-performance aviation vehicles.
Speaking of aviation vehicles, ever hear of the Space Port? Sir Richard Branson has,(and so has Gov. Bill Richardson, but that's another story.) Most likely the first made-for-public space rides will be based out of central New Mexico. Victoria Principal has already purchased a ticket - if that matters. Dallas may be far behind, but space beckons. Stay tuned.
